WEST Builders was established in 2003 based on the knowledge its Owners gained from their 75-years of combined construction experience and more than 21,000,000 SF of collective project experience with a value in excess of 1.7 billion dollars.
WEST Builders is customer driven providing general contracting, design build & design assist services and development management on behalf of its private sector commercial customers. These customers include Development and Property Management firms, Pension Fund Advisory Companies that specialize in real estate and in recent years, WEST has applied its unique expertise in helping Banks and Receivers to complete, reposition and sell their distressed assets.
WEST Builders’ success continues to evolve with its growing list of new and repeat clientele fueled by its core dedication to performing well beyond customer expectations through effort, engineering expertise and intelligence. The company is based from two offices; one in Northern California (Point Richmond – Bay Area) and one in Southern California (Los Angeles).

Core Culture
At WEST, we actively promote the alignment of our profit motivation directly with that of our customers and we are willing to work under completely transparent contract formats. In contrast, we find that “hard-bid” public sector systems promote adversarial profit motivations and offer very little to foster and promote long term relationships with great customers that enhance the day to day enjoyment in our careers.
We recruit highly capable engineers and construction management graduates directly from select college programs and train them in our comprehensive project delivery system. From inception, we work to ensure that our engineers understand our corporate tenet to always “move heaven and earth” for our customers. |

San Marco & Rapallo – Comprehensive assessment of two partially complete side by side condominiums including the removal of water damaged construction, clean up, abatement and waterproofing of the two Luxury Residences in Santa Monica, CA for Wald Realty Advisors (Receivers)
The Markham – 166 new Luxury apartment units and 388 fully renovated units, 28 acres of Site utilities replacement, a new recreation building, pool and park in Cupertino California.
The Towers Emeryville – Complete renovation of all exterior hard and soft scape, new building entrances, exterior skin refurbishment, interior demolition, parking structure renovation and interior improvements in three high-rise tower complex in Emeryville, CA. |
